Aerodynamic tests of ventilation and air conditioning systems of buildings and structures are carried out in order to check their operable and serviceable condition, to confirm the compliance with engineering and passport data in such basic characteristics of ventilation systems as air velocity and air flow rates.
While conducting aerodynamic tests of ventilation and air conditioning systems of buildings and structures, the experts of the Forensic expert kollegium take measurements:
- of the barometric pressure of the surrounding air;
- of the transported air temperature;
- of the relative humidity of the transported air;
- of the air temperature in the working area of the room;
- of the dynamic pressure of the fan;
- of the static pressure of the fan;
- of the full fan pressure;
- of the dynamic pressure of the air flow at the point of the measured section;
- of the static pressure of the air flow at the point of the measured section;
- of the total pressure of the air flow at the point of the measured section;
- of the flow rate in air ducts.
If necessary, the experts of the Forensic expert kollegium can perform vibration diagnostics of fans, including explosion-proof ones, in order to identify critical defects or determine the physical wear (assessment of the residual life) of the fan.
As a result of aerodynamic tests of ventilation and air conditioning systems of buildings and structures, the following actual values of the parameters of the elements of ventilation and air conditioning systems are determined:
- the density of the transported air;
- air speed;
- volumetric air flow;
- dynamic pressure of the average air velocity;
- total pressure loss in the ventilation network or in its individual elements;
- pressure loss coefficient of the ventilation network or its element.
Based on the results of aerodynamic tests of ventilation and air conditioning systems of buildings and structures, in addition to the measurement (test) protocols, the specialists of the Forensic expert kollegium, at the request of the customer, can carry out certification of ventilation (air conditioning) systems.
