The subject of forensic construction and technical expertise (forensic expertise of construction projects and the territory functionally related to them) are the circumstances of the case related to the establishment of data characterizing the process of engineering, construction, operation and repair of buildings and structures.
The main tasks of the forensic construction and technical expertise (forensic expertise of construction objects and the territory functionally related to them) are:
- determination of the fact of compliance of the work performed with the current building codes and regulations;
- establishing the correctness of inspection and reporting of construction, installation and repair work;
- establishing the possibility of dividing a residential building and an adjacent land plot;
- establishing the facts of violation of safety measures in construction;
- assessment of the volume and quality of construction, installation and repair work;
- calculation of the amount of harm (damage) caused to construction objects during floods, fires, illegal actions of third parties or natural disasters.
