The Forensic expert kollegium conducts physical and mechanical tests of polymer lining and bags for compliance with the requirements of technical regulatory legal acts.
Due to their unique properties, polymer lining and bags are widely used in construction, for packaging, transportation and storage of food and industrial products, as materials for covering furniture, greenhouses, laminate, etc. Carrying out their main function - protection - polymer lining and bags play an important role in preserving the properties of the product and its quality. Therefore, it is also important that the main characteristics of lining and bags meet the requirements set in the quality standards for these products.
A necessary stage in the procedure for assessing the conformity of products to the requirements of legal acts, standards, technical regulations or conditions, norms, rules is testing.
Polymer lining tests at the Forensic expert kollegium are carried out according to the following parameters:
- appearance (the presence of cracks, tears, folds, holes);
- lining geometrical parameters (thickness, width);
- shrinkage when heated;
- tensile strength, etc.
Tests of polymer bags at the Forensic expert kollegium are carried out according to the following parameters:
- appearance (presence of cracks, breaks, holes);
- sticking of inner surfaces;
- tightness of welded seams;
- geometric dimensions (length, width, thickness);
- strength of welded seams.
During the tests, the compliance of products with safety requirements and quality standards established for these products is assessed, as well as the compliance of the functional indicators of products with future operating conditions, reliability and resistance of products to various external influences.
Tests at the Forensic expert kollrgium are carried out in a testing laboratory, using special equipment and calibrated measuring instruments, which are included in the State register of measuring instruments of the Republic of Belarus, as well as according to the methods established in the technical regulatory legal acts in force on the territory of the Republic of Belarus and the Customs Union.
In the course of research, both destructive and non-destructive methods can be used. Upon completion of the tests, a protocol is drawn up, which confirms or does not confirm the compliance of the product with the requirements of regulatory documents.
