The Forensic expert kollegium carries out calculations of all types of ventilation and air conditioning systems.
The main task of ventilation and air conditioning systems verification calculations is to verify the compliance of the ventilation construction project with the requirements of the customer, reflected in the relevant terms of reference, as well as the requirements of regulatory legal and technical regulatory legal acts.
Indirect signs of non-compliance of the construction project and (or) ventilation and air conditioning systems with standardized requirements are:
- the impossibility of achieving comfortable climatic conditions with efficient ventilation equipment;
- the practical absence of air flow (lack of air exchange) at the outlets remote from the central air duct system);
- mold formation near the outlets of the air ducts, high humidity in the room, condensation on the walls.
Verification calculations of ventilation and air conditioning systems are carried out in accordance with the current technical regulatory legal acts for administrative, service and industrial buildings and consist of the following steps:
1. Checking the necessary (permissible or required) air exchange for the premises:
- by sensible heat excesses;
- by mass of released harmful or explosive substances;
- by excess moisture;
- by excess total heat;
- by the normalized air exchange rate;
- by the normalized specific consumption of supply air.
2. Checking the correctness of the choice of the maximum values of air exchange in the premises.
3. Checking the correctness of the calculation of the diameters of the air ducts to obtain the optimal air velocity value based on:
- estimated air velocity in the ducts;
- calculated pressure losses in the duct system.
4. Checking the selection of the installed ventilation unit for the designed air duct system.
Along with the engineering calculations, the experts of the Forensic expert kollegium, at the request of the customer, are able to measure the microclimate parameters of the serviced areas of residential, public, administrative and service buildings. The Forensic expert kollegium is also carrying out the examinations of correctness of the installation of air conditioning and ventilation systems, the study of their performance and serviceability.
