Vacuum cleaners and water-suction cleaning devices must be submitted for expertise with all nozzles, hoses, containers of washing solution and containers for collecting water which are included in the product kit. The applicant for expertise must additionally submit clean dust collectors and filters for performance testing,
The most common defects in electric vacuum cleaners, water suction cleaners and centralized dust extraction systems are:
- improper suction pressure;
- breach of the tightness of containers for washing solution or for collecting water;
- motor failure;
- failure of the cleaning solution supply system;
- high noise level;
- excessive power consumption.
Also, there are often cases of unreliability of information provided to consumers on the rules of the operation of electric vacuum cleaners and centralized dust removal systems, in particular, in terms of the possibility and methods of cleaning filters and dust collectors.
The most common causes of malfunctions of electric vacuum cleaners, water suction cleaners and centralized dust extraction systems are:
- design errors of the suction system (manufacturing defect);
- defects in the manufacture of wash solution supply valves (manufacturing defect);
- improper repair of the electric drive of the vacuum cleaner (manufacturing defect);
- the use of low-quality polymeric materials in the manufacture of containers and seals by the manufacturer (manufacturing defect);
- flooding of the electric drive of the vacuum cleaner during its storage or operation (operational defect);
- improper use of vacuum cleaners (unacceptable use of the product for cleaning construction waste, use of the product without a dust collector or filters installed, untimely replacement or cleaning of filters) (operational defect).
