The Forensic expert kollegium has properly equipped premises for conducting psychological examinations and special psycho-physiological studies.
Psychological studies, including polygraph tests, are carried out at the Forensic expert kollegium at special premises at: Minsk, Yakubova st., 80, entrance from the side of the bike path (Svisloch river), 15th floor.
In all rooms, both for conducting psychological examinations and for conducting special psychophysiological studies, a video recording of the behavior and actions of the interviewed persons is conducted in high resolution (HD) with a high recording frequency (50 frames per second), which allows to register the smallest micromovements of the interviewee and fix microexpressions of his face.
The office for psychological examination is equipped with a zone for psychological interviews, a zone for passing written tests and a zone for psychological unloading (rest). In the office, studies of single persons, married couples, examinations of minors in the presence of their legal representatives can be carried out.
The office for conducting special psychophysiological studies is properly soundproofed, equipped with a special massive chair with wide armrests and a special mantle containing tremor (movement of the interviewee) sensors in the seat, back and armrests for interviewing on a polygraph. The arrangement of the furniture in the office contributes both to video recording of potential attempts to counteract the examination by the interviewee, and to receiving the best possible reliable results by the polygraph examiner.
The covering, including the usage of special materials, of walls and flooring meets all the requirements for premises for conducting psychological examinations and special psychophysiological studies in terms of texture, color and contrast to obtain objective examination results.
During the examination, all of the participants of the examination are required to turn off their mobile phones and other communication devices.
The Forensic expert kollegium is the first forensic institution in the Republic of Belarus that provides services for conducting special psychological research using a polygraph, which has successfully passed the certification of the management system for compliance with the requirements of the new version of the state standard STB ISO 9001-2015. Polygraph examinations are conducted by certified forensic experts and polygraph examiners.
