The Forensic expert kollegium was the first of the forensic licensed institutions in Belarus to start providing polygraph survey services. Special psychophysiological studies with the use of a polygraph are carried out at the Forensic expert kollegium for both legal entities and individuals, moreover, both in Russian and Belarusian languages, depending on which of the state languages of Belarus is native to the respondent.
For legal entities, the Forensic expert kollegium conducts the following polygraph tests:
- screening checks of hired personnel (checking candidates for a responsible position in the company in order to prevent future insider attempts, assessing the candidate's tendency to steal information or material values, express verification of the authenticity of the information specified in the documents provided by the candidate, identifying harmful addictions or psychological deviations);
- polygraph surveys of employees of the enterprise as part of internal investigations on the facts of emergencies;
- selective periodic checks of personnel on a polygraph in order to prevent violations of job descriptions, destructive activities of employees in relation to their own employer, identification of side income associated with the use of official position;
- checking the dismissed personnel on a polygraph for theft of information constituting an official or commercial secret of the company, which also is the intellectual property of the employer.
For individuals, the Forensic expert kollegium conducts the following polygraph tests:
- polygraph testing of privately hired non-business employees (nannies, drivers, security guards, house cleaners, personal secretaries) in order to identify destructive activities in relation to the employer, his family members or property, dishonest performance of duties, unauthorized using of the owner's property or theft;
- psychological examination of victims of violence, including a study on a contact polygraph;
- polygraph testing of spouses in order to identify facts of adultery;
- a survey using a polygraph of persons about to marry in order to identify the true goals of marriage, hidden health problems, including alcohol or drug addiction, mental disorders, predisposition to adultery;
- polygraph survey of persons, suspected by relatives or close people of theft of personal property or of committing acts inconsistent with the moral code of the family;
- polygraph survey of close relatives for the purpose of early detection of harmful addictions (sadism, pedophilia, drug or alcohol addiction, gambling addiction).
Special psychophysiological studies are carried out at the Forensic expert kollegium on a multi-channel professional computer polygraph "Diana-07", the interviewee is placed on a special chair for psychophysiological studies with a cover "Mantiya-2+", equipped with built-in motion sensors that allow recording motor activity in the zones of the left and right armrests, back and seat of the chair.
The survey using a polygraph at the Forensic expert kollegium is carried out in accordance with international standards, with parallel continuous recording of high-quality audio and video information of the survey process in HD format, starting from the pre-test conversation and ending with the completion of the survey procedure.
It should be noted that when ordering a polygraph test, contraindications to taking a survey using a polygraph should be taken into account.
The Forensic expert kollegium is the first forensic institution in the Republic of Belarus that provides services in special psychophysiological examinations using a polygraph, which has successfully passed the certification of the management system for compliance with the requirements of the state standard STB ISO 9001-2015.
