Objects of examination of dating include:
- documents made with a ballpoint pen;
- documents made with a gel pen;
- documents made with a roller pen;
- documents made using an inkjet printer;
- impressions of stamps and seals;
- signatures.
Features of methods for conducting examination of document dating:
1. Gas chromatography method
- destructive method with partial destruction of the document;
- examination of dating up to three years;
- it is necessary to provide only the document itself
2. Method of dye color change
- non-destructive method;
- examination of dating up to ten years;
